Terms of Service

PromptVault (promptvault.fun) is a platform for storing, sharing and remixing AI-music prompts, operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. Questions: support@promptvault.fun.

Your account

You must be at least 13 to use PromptVault. Keep your credentials safe — you're responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, and one account per person, please. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent.

Your content stays yours

You own the lyrics, prompts and other content you post. You give us the non-exclusive licence we need to operate the service: hosting, displaying and distributing your content within PromptVault according to the visibility you set (private, unlisted or public), including link previews for content you choose to share. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has already been lawfully remixed by others (below) or copies exist in rotating backups for a limited time.

Remixing is the point. If you make a song or prompt public, other members may fork it into their own vault — the lineage back to you is preserved automatically. If you don't want something forked, keep it private or unlisted. Forks made while your content was public survive as independent copies (without the link back) if you later delete the original.

Acceptable use

Don't post content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or harasses people. Don't attempt to break, overload or scrape the service, bypass rate limits, or misuse other members' content outside what the platform enables. Report abusive content with the in-app Report button or to abuse@promptvault.fun. We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend accounts that break these rules — moderation decisions are logged, and mistaken removals can be appealed via support.

Copyright & DMCA

Rights holders can report infringing content via our DMCA page or legal@promptvault.fun. Affected members are notified and can file a counter-notification from the content's page. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Subscriptions

Paid tiers (Premium, Pro) are billed as recurring subscriptions through PayPal at the price shown at checkout, monthly or annually, until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → Billing — your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, and no further payments are taken. Because digital access starts immediately, you agree at checkout to waive the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once the service is supplied; your statutory rights for faulty services are unaffected. If you downgrade or a subscription ends, content beyond your new capacity isn't deleted — it becomes read-only until you're back within your limits.

The service

PromptVault is in soft launch: features will change, and occasionally things will break. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law implies. We back up data continuously but you should keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable (Settings → Your data makes that a one-click export). To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and law

If we change these terms materially we'll announce it on the site (and by email for significant changes); continuing to use PromptVault after that is acceptance. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. See also our Privacy Policy.
