Soft Launch Progress
When we opened the doors in May, the roadmap had a phase called Post Soft Launch: the things we knew were missing on day one and wanted to get right before anything fancier. That phase is now done. Here's what landed, in the order it landed.
Play tracks without leaving
Suno, YouTube, SoundCloud and Bandcamp renditions now play right on the Song page. Nothing loads until you click, so the page stays fast and no third-party player runs in the background. Add a rendition link, hit play, and hear the take next to the lyrics and prompt that made it.
Copy & open in Suno
One click copies the lyrics, the style prompt, or both, and opens Suno's create page ready to paste. It's a small thing that removes the copy-paste dance from every regeneration.
Better search
Search now finds creators, tags and collections as well as Songs and Prompts. Results are proper full-text matches ranked by relevance, split into tabs so you can jump straight to the kind of thing you're after, with filters to narrow it down from there.
Following feed
Follow a creator and their new public Songs, Prompts and collections show up in your feed. It's the difference between "I saw a great prompt last week" and actually being able to find it again.
RSS feeds
Four Atom feeds you can drop into any feed reader:
The blog — /blog/feed.xml
Fresh drops, the newest public Songs on Explore — /explore/feed.xml
Any tag — /explore/tag/{tag}/feed.xml
Any creator, their public Songs and Prompts — /u/{handle}/feed.xml
Feeds carry summaries, not full lyrics. Your work stays on your page, and anyone who wants the whole thing comes to the vault for it. Look for the RSS icon on the blog, tag and profile headers.
Smoother onboarding
Registering now suggests a handle for you (pick your own if you'd rather) and signs you straight in afterwards. The first thing a new account sees is + New Song, not a login form.
What's next
The next phase is Deeper creator tools: version history for every Song and Prompt, a smarter lyrics editor with section-tag buttons and Suno's limits shown while you write, and musical details like genre, mood, BPM and key on Prompts. It's all on the roadmap page, and the order is still up for grabs. If one of those matters to you more than the others, say so on Discord or through the bug reporter on any page.
Everything is still free during soft launch, and early accounts still get Pro-level capacity. If you haven't already: store the prompt you're most afraid of losing.
