Bring your Suno songs home
Most people arrive at PromptVault with a Suno library already full of songs and the lyrics for them scattered across notes, chats and old prompts. Until now, getting that into the vault meant pasting one link per Song and copying lyrics by hand. Two new tools take most of that work away.
Match your Suno library to your vault
If you already have Songs in PromptVault and just want the Suno clips attached to them, go to Settings → Your data → Match Suno songs. Hand it a list of your Suno songs and it matches them to your Songs by title, shows you what it found, and adds the Renditions in one confirm.
There are three ways to hand over the list:
The bookmarklet. Drag the button to your bookmarks bar, open your Suno library in a second tab, scroll to the bottom once, and click the bookmark from the Suno tab. It collects every song on the page and sends the list back to PromptVault. It needs two tabs: one on Suno, one here.
A file from a Suno exporter tool, CSV or JSON, with an id or link column and a title column.
Pasted links, one per line. Bare ids work too.
Every song is checked with Suno's own embed lookup, so the titles come from Suno rather than from whatever was in the file. Matching ignores case, punctuation and the usual take suffixes, so "Neon Rain (v2)" and "Neon Rain - 2" both find "Neon Rain". Two clips with one title both attach to the same Song, which is normal since Suno makes them in pairs. If two of your Songs share a title, you pick which one. Anything already attached, or on a Song that has hit the five-Rendition cap, is listed with the reason rather than silently skipped.
Import a song's lyrics and style prompt
The other tool is for the songs you don't have in the vault at all. On the New Song page there's now an Import from Suno box. Paste a link to one of your songs and you get a private Song with the title and lyrics, a Prompt holding the style text, and the clip attached as the Rendition, all in one step. The negative tags land in the Song's description, and the Song shows where it came from.
Style prompts are reused rather than duplicated: if you already have a Prompt with exactly that text, the import links to it instead of making another. Importing the same clip twice just opens the Song you already have.
Why the import only works on your own songs
Suno song pages are public, which means anyone could paste anyone's link. We didn't want PromptVault to become a tool for lifting other people's lyrics, so the import is gated on proof that the clip is yours.
Before you can import, you link your Suno account. Open the account menu, choose Link your Suno account, and you'll see a short code. Put that code anywhere in your Suno profile description, save it on Suno, enter your handle and press Verify. PromptVault reads your public profile, finds the code, and remembers that account as yours. You can delete the code from your bio straight afterwards.
From then on, every import checks who made the clip. Your own songs come straight in. Anyone else's are refused with a message naming the Suno account they belong to, and nothing is copied. Your PromptVault handle and your Suno handle don't need to match, and you can link more than one Suno account if you have them.
If you want to build on someone else's public work, the honest route is the same as before: fork their PromptVault Song, or add their clip as a Rendition of a Song you wrote yourself.
What it can't do
Private Suno songs. Both tools read what Suno shows publicly. A song set to private on Suno comes back as unmatched or unreadable, so make it public first. You can set it back to private once it's in the vault.
Other people's clips. By design, see above.
Cover art. The import doesn't copy the artwork into your storage. The Suno player on the Song page shows it anyway.
Everything at once. The library match attaches clips to Songs you already have; the import brings in one song per link. If the match finds clips with no Song to attach to, each one offers an "import this clip" link, so the two tools chain together.
Guarantees about Suno. This isn't an official Suno integration. The bookmarklet reads the library page you're looking at, and the import reads the public song page. If Suno changes its pages, one of these may stop working until we catch up, and the file and paste options are the fallback.
Limits
Up to 500 songs per library match and three matches an hour. Imports are one link at a time, with a sensible hourly cap. Everything created is private until you choose otherwise, and Songs and Prompts count against your plan's slots like any other.
Everything is still free during soft launch, and early accounts still get Pro-level capacity. If your best lyrics only exist on Suno, this is the week to bring them home.
